Key Features
Class 2500 High-Pressure Design
The sample shown is an 8" Class 2500 forged trunnion mounted ball valve, designed for high-pressure pipeline isolation and demanding process service in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical and power plant applications.
Trunnion Mounted Ball Structure
The supported ball structure helps control ball position under pressure and reduce excessive ball-to-seat loading compared with large floating ball designs. This supports more stable operation under high differential pressure.
Project-Based Forged Body Materials
Forged body materials can be selected according to actual medium, pressure, temperature, corrosion risk and project specifications. ASTM A182 F11 is shown as the sample material, while A105N, LF2, F22, F304 / F316, duplex, super duplex, F91 and nickel alloys are available by project requirement.
Worm Gear Operation for High-Torque Service
Worm gear operation provides stable manual control for large-size and high-pressure valves. Pneumatic, electric or hydraulic actuators can also be supplied according to torque requirement, valve size, pressure class and automation needs.
Flexible Seat and Sealing Options
RPTFE, PEEK, Devlon, Nylon / PA and metal seated configurations can be selected according to pressure, temperature, medium and leakage requirements. Graphite, FKM, HNBR, PTFE or metal sealing options are available by service condition.
Project-Based Safety and Testing Options
Fire-safe design, anti-static device, anti-blowout stem, sealant injection, locking device, NACE sour service materials, DBB / DIB function and API 6D requirements can be supplied according to approved project specifications, sectional drawings and test procedures.
Product Details
SLVCN Class 2500 Forged Trunnion Mounted Ball Valve with Worm Gear is designed for high-pressure pipeline isolation in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, power plant and demanding process piping applications.
The sample shown is an 8" ASME Class 2500 forged trunnion mounted ball valve with ASTM A182 F11 alloy steel body material and worm gear operation. The forged body construction provides strength and pressure stability, while the trunnion mounted ball structure helps control ball position and operating torque under high differential pressure.
Body material, seat material, bore type, end connection, sealing structure, operation method, pressure class and testing requirements can be customized according to actual medium, temperature, corrosion risk and project specifications. Common forged body materials include A105N, A350 LF2, A182 F22, F304 / F316, F51 / F53, F91 and nickel alloys.
For large-size and high-pressure pipeline systems, worm gear operation provides stable manual control. Electric, pneumatic or hydraulic actuation can also be supplied according to project automation requirements.
Fire-safe design, anti-static device, anti-blowout stem, sealant injection, NACE sour service materials, DBB / DIB functions and API 6D requirements are available by project requirement and approved valve design. MTC, pressure test report, inspection report, PMI report, CO and test photos or videos can be supplied according to order requirements.
