    Product Details

SLVCN Flanged × NPT/BSP Twin-Ball Double Block and Bleed Ball Valve with Lockable Operation

This valve is designed for instrument isolation, sampling lines, injection points, metering skids and compact process piping systems where double block and bleed isolation, cavity pressure release and leakage verification are required.

The valve adopts a compact flanged × threaded configuration, combining a flanged process connection with an NPT or BSP threaded connection. This structure is suitable for branch-line installation, instrument connections and sampling points where installation space is limited and fewer connection points are preferred.

Dual Closures: Two independent ball closures provide reliable upstream and downstream shut-off.
Bleed / Drain System: Intermediate connection allows cavity venting, draining, or monitoring for safe leakage verification.
Lockable Design: Lockable operation mechanism prevents accidental or unauthorized adjustments in the field.

The reduced / asymmetric flow path is suitable for instrument branches, sampling lines and injection points where full line bore is not required. Lockable operation helps reduce accidental or unauthorized operation during field service.

Body material, seat material, pressure class, flange standard, threaded connection, locking arrangement, operation method and testing requirements can be customized according to actual service conditions. The valve is suitable for oil & gas, chemical, petrochemical, instrumentation and compact skid-mounted applications.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What are the primary applications of this Twin-Ball DBB valve?
This valve is primarily designed for instrument isolation, sampling lines, injection points, metering skids, and compact process piping systems where double block and bleed isolation, cavity pressure release, and leakage verification are required.
What are the benefits of the flanged × threaded configuration?
The compact configuration combines a flanged process connection with an NPT or BSP threaded connection. It is ideal for branch-line installations, instrument connections, and sampling points where space is limited and fewer connection points are preferred.
How does the intermediate bleed/drain connection work?
While two independent ball closures provide secure upstream and downstream shut-off, the intermediate bleed/drain connection allows the cavity between them to be safely vented, drained, or monitored. This enables safe leakage verification prior to maintenance or line intervention.
Why does the valve feature a reduced/asymmetric flow path?
The reduced flow path is optimized specifically for instrument branches, sampling lines, and injection points where a full line bore is not necessary, helping to maintain a compact and lightweight valve structure.
Can the materials and specifications of this valve be customized?
Yes, the valve is highly customizable. The body material, seat material, pressure class, flange standard, threaded connection, locking arrangement, operation method, and testing requirements can all be tailored to match your specific service conditions.
